Why I Started The Cookie House

Before I discovered my passion for baking, my heart was fully invested in my role as a Digital Marketing Specialist. As the very first employee in that department, I had the incredible opportunity to help shape the company's social and digital marketing strategies from the ground up. I began this journey in 2019, pouring my energy and dedication into a job I loved. Fast forward to August 2023, my husband and I were filled with joy as we welcomed our beautiful baby boy into the world. During my maternity leave, I cherished every moment of nurturing our little one, eagerly anticipating my return to work. However, life took an unexpected turn when, shortly after I went back, I found myself let go from the very company I had devoted years of hard work to. It was a heart-wrenching moment, feeling abandoned when I needed their support the most.

In the aftermath of that loss, my focus shifted entirely to caring for our baby and nurturing our home. The job search was a struggle, filled with uncertainty and challenges. It was during this time that I rediscovered the joy of baking—a comforting escape that allowed me to channel my emotions and creativity. What began as simple meals for my son quickly evolved into baking batches of cookies for family and friends. Their warm reactions and encouragement inspired me to take a leap of faith and turn my newfound passion into a business. I am profoundly grateful for that decision, as it has given me the chance to not only express my creativity but also to provide for my family while spreading a little joy through my cookies.

Now, as I navigate the beautiful chaos of motherhood and being a loving wife, I find solace in the gym and the kitchen. With every cookie I bake, I infuse a piece of my heart, hoping to bring a smile to those who enjoy my creations. This journey has been transformative, and I am excited to see where it leads, one heartfelt cookie at a time.
